People who work with data in the non-profit sector are not just analysts, they're program staff, managers, researchers, and administrators. However, there are few opportunities for people to connect around data and learn from each other. This is especially critical for those who are the lone "data person" in their organization.
We have begun to engage an informal network to determine how to strengthen the relationships between people working with data and how these roles can be supported in the non-profit sector. This network of data people will be a place for mutual support, professional development, and an important contributor to building up the data maturity of the sector.
